How long do Virgin Hair Extensions last?

Virgin hair extensions are immortal. Meaning they do not die. Human hair does not die. 100% human hair with a live intact cuticle can always be made 100% healthy. Human hair has 22-24 amino acids, by replacing at least 19 amino acids at the same time, the hair can be made 100%. However, human hair can be damaged. Human hair can be damaged by heat, color, and improper care.

Virgin human hair extensions, machine weft and handtied wefts can last 2-3 years when being worn consistently. You could possibly get more wear time out of it with proper care. The hair can last 10-20 years when being rotated out. The reasons why the hair would last 2-3 years is because of hair loss out of the weft and or incorrect brushing and detangling. The hair can also become shorter as a result of split ends, over processing and improper brushing.

Rotating out the hair for another hair can increase the lifespan of the hair. For example, if you use straight virgin hair clip ins for one month, then the next use curly clip ins, then the next month a u-part wig, then a four month sew in install and then continue to rotate, the wig and clip-ins life span would increase to 10 years and more the install hair would  be reusable for 3 or more sew in installs. You may need to replace one or two bundles for the sew in installs if needed.

Virgin Indian Hair gets better with every shampoo and condition. The more you shampoo and condition the better it gets. Its best to use with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Never use a chelating, or cleansing shampoo as that would result in the cuticle lifting and sticking together.

So ultimately, its up to you and how you care for your hair virgin hair extensions. They can get shorter and that may resulting in wanting longer hair, however the quality can increase over time with proper shampooing and conditioning.
