What bead weight should I choose? It depends on your natural hair density — 0.5g for fine hair, 0.7g-0.8g for denser hair that can support more weight. Does the application hurt? No — clamping a bead is a mechanical process, not a heat or chemical one, and shouldn't cause pain when done correctly.

PART TWO: Maintenance and Care Questions

How often do I-tips need maintenance? Most clients return every 8-10 weeks as beads need repositioning closer to the scalp as hair grows. Can I reuse the same hair? Yes, provided it's raw hair in good condition — no heat exposure means it holds up well to multiple installs.
